Personal Statement

Japan – Europe – Japan – Europe – – –

as a native Japanese I was grown up in Belgium, Germany and France until the age of eleven. After the repatriation to Japan, I graduated from Sophia University in 1992 and started my career in Tokyo while working for global entities. As a certified Japanese Labour and Social Security Attorney (“Shakai Hoken Romushi”) I consulted multiple European start-up companies in terms of the Japanese Employment Law and HR practices.

As I got to know that the Japan’s largest Telecommunication company NTT DOCOMO was seeking to start a new business in Munich, I joined DOCOMO Euro-Labs in 2001 as a start-up member and made my mind to enrich my career in Europe too. I established and implemented the required Rules & Regulations, Human Resources programs and conducted diverse topics in Talent Acquisition, C&B, Performance Management or Learning & Development. Currently I am in the position of Vice President & Human Resources / Legal as a senior management member as well as being the interface between the company and the Works Council.

It is my pleasure to drive the Change Management as well as interact with multicultural people in our organization.
