Personal Statement
My international journey started in Italy, where I did my master’s in Telecommunications Engineering at Politecnico Di Torino. As part of the prestigious Erasmus grant, I moved to Telecom SudParis, France to continue the second year of my master’s studies. I later started my career at Orange Labs, France, as a research intern to design a new business model of low-cost wireless infrastructure for developing countries. After that I continued to work at Orange Labs as an R&D engineer where I developed a new mobile packet core network using cutting-edge technologies such as NFV and SDN. During this time, I was involved in several European projects and standardization activities and also had the opportunity to work closely with people from all over the world.
Since joining NTT DOCOMO Euro-Labs, I have worked on several internal and external R&D projects in cooperation with mobile operators, mobile device vendors, and academic partners and represented NTT DOCOMO in several organizations and standardization bodies such as 3GPP. I am currently leading a standardization team in the field of system architecture for mobile networks.
