DOCOMO Euro-Labs’ Senior Architect Dr. Kostas Katsalis was appointed as the new IFA Working Group vice-chair at ETSI NFV on June 17th, 2023.
DOCOMO Euro-Labs celebrate the achievement of our esteemed colleague. Congratulations Kostas! Since joining DOCOMO Euro-Labs, Kostas has been an active contributor to the work in ETSI ISG NFV, mainly in the EVE and IFA working groups.
NTT DOCOMO has been a long-standing supporter of ETSI ISG NFV and it has utilized its specification outcomes to build, deploy and operate DOCOMO’s 4G and 5G core network.
NTT DOCOMO’s future network designs towards 6G will also consider ETSI ISG NFV specifications by expanding the use of NFV to other network domains, such as RAN and other service platforms.
