One of our employees, Dr. Mikio Iwamura, received a Certificate of Appreciation from NGMN in recognition of his invaluable contributions and dedication to the global NGMN 5G Initiative.
The NGMN Alliance is an industrial organization of leading world-wide Telecom Operators, Vendors and Research Institutes (see www.ngmn.org) and was founded by international network operators in 2006. Its objective is to ensure that the functionality and performance of next generation mobile network infrastructure, service platforms and devices will meet the requirements of operators and, ultimately, will satisfy end user demand and expectations. Dr. Iwamura was leading the technology and architecture work stream within the NGMN 5G Initiative in 2014-2015 and was the editor of the corresponding sections of the NGMN 5G White Paper, published in March 2015. The NGMN 5G White Paper has been widely recognized as a key reference that set out the vision and requirements toward 5G.
