On 23-24 January 2024, Joan Triay, manager at DOCOMO Euro-Labs, participated to The Green Network Summit organized on-line by TelecomTV.
Improving the energy efficiency of communication networks, reaching carbon neutrality and, even, becoming net-zero, are key targets for telecom network operators, including NTT DOCOMO, towards contributing to a more sustainable telecom ecosystem. Considering the importance of this, TelecomTV organized from 23 to 25 of January 2024 “The Green Network Summit”, and DOCOMO Euro-Labs had the pleasure to actively contribute to it.
On his first participation at this summit, Dr. Triay joined in the LIVE Q&A discussion on 23rd January, tackling the topics raised during the summit and identifying the next steps for the industry towards carbon neutral communications.
In addition, on 24th January, Dr. Triay participated in the panel discussion on “Leveraging cloud native for network sustainability and efficiency” by addressing substantial questions such as: how can operators leverage the strengths of cloud-native software and processes to help with their green network and sustainability targets?
