Standard-essential patent applications for next-generation mobile communications
In February 2019, NTT Docomo, INC. announced that it has been ranked the world’s leading mobile operator in terms of applications for candidate standard-essential patents and of 5G technical proposals (contributions). Focusing its activities on core network standardization, DOCOMO Euro-Labs contributed to this success with our expertise to the 3GPP working group SA2 – Architecture.
