On November 26, 2024, Riccardo Guerzoni, director at DOCOMO Euro-Labs, will hold a Keynote speech on “Resolving the 6G riddle: service innovation, sustainability, trustworthiness” at the IEEE Conference on Standards for Communications and Networking (CSCN).
In this keynote presentation Mr. Guerzoni will analyse the trends for the next generation telco systems, enabling cloud-native deployment of network functions as well as application services on a common platform. Highly automated management (intent-based, zero-touch) and orchestration should be coupled with strengthened resiliency. On the other hand, the mobile network should enable value co-creation with verticals by exposing network functions and offering the telco cloud (with acceleration) to host resource-demanding (e.g., AI-based) applications.
The telco ecosystem should aim at 6G as a technology to be adopted globally once again, to enable more countries to stay on the cutting-edge of business/innovation and economic growth, to serve as a common platform for IoT service providers / industry globally, and to help sustainable future of the world by attracting investments on eco-friendly infrastructures.
