On 21 March 2024, Riccardo Guerzoni, director of the Core Network Group at DOCOMO Euro-Labs, will moderate the one6G Open Lecture on “In-Network Computing and Intelligent User Plane for 6G”.
The one6G Open Lecture 7 will address topics related to In-Network Computing (INC) and Intelligent User Plane for 6G.
Four top experts in the field, representing both academia and industry, will discuss the state of the art of INC and Programmable Data Planes, including architecture concepts, current challenges, and recent advances:
- Markus Mueck (Intel & ETSI): “Native artificial intelligence and native computing as key features of 6G”
- Marie-Jose Montpetit (McGill University): “Intelligent Programmable Data Planes to Optimize Application Delivery in 6G Networks”
- Hiroki Baba (NTT Network Service System Laboratories): “In-network service-aware computing with hardware acceleration in 6G network”
- Franco Callegati (University of Bologna): “Intelligent user plane for the manufacturing sector”.
